Writer’s high (noun)

The feeling a writer has at perhaps 3am,

When they’ve reached the perfect balance

Between:

1. quelling their craving,

Their bloodlust to conquer, to define a feeling just a smidgen,

And 

2. insatiability,

Which propels them to continue

Perhaps until dawn.
